XIS - from Swatch to Mobile phones

- Swatch technology transferred to mobile phone configuration., Sendo international (1999-2000?)

in my last company (Sendo International in 1999-2001) we configured(software install) and packed mobile phones coming from Haier( China). Our production concept(mini clean rooms) was an innovation relative to the former Philips clean room production facility. The product design with related quality problems of dust of quality checks caused a slow process. With the support of Swatch we used their technology for the Lens (of the watch) install in order to realise a blind install a speed in production.  Instead of clean rooms we created clean mini environments at the position of the assembly/hands.
